Check Bradford’s item rules before choosing
Bradford Council’s domestic bulky service limits a collection to three items. It excludes commercial waste, builders waste and loose bags or boxes of rubbish. Upholstered seating has separate handling arrangements. Check the item list and current charge before booking; a mixed clear-out may need more than one route.

Another route to consider
Furniture that is still usable may be suitable for donation, sale or a reuse organisation. Bradford Council lists local reuse routes, including options for furniture and electrical items. Acceptance depends on condition and the organisation’s own requirements.

What to tell a private collector
- Count upholstered and non-upholstered items separately.
- Show the route from the collection point to safe loading, including steps and gates.
- Landlords and businesses should not assume a domestic council collection applies to their waste.
Compare offers for your actual job
Add clear photos, quantities, the collection address and preferred dates. Eligible collectors choose whether to bid. Compare their total price, collection window, profile and exclusions; the lowest bid does not win automatically.
Choose the offer that suits you and review all details before paying. Your dashboard keeps the confirmed booking, updates, completion evidence and available collection records together.
Choose the right starting point
- Furniture removal
- House and garage clearance
- Business and office clearance
- Suspected hazardous materials
