What can change the price?
Waste type, volume, weight, loading time, crew size, carrying distance, parking and the receiving facility all matter. A light furniture load and dense rubble are not equivalent just because they occupy the same space. Describe both the material and the amount.
How we compare published information
A useful reference records the source, date, location, waste type, quantity, taxes, access assumptions and what is included. Council household services, private collections and commercial disposal charges serve different needs and should not be presented as interchangeable prices.
We do not publish a low, middle or high market price without sufficient comparable evidence. Historic research is not a live quote, and a calculator assumption is not proof that a collector can perform your job for that amount.
Your agreed price
Collectors submit their own offers. Compare the total collector price, collection window, included work and exclusions. Your checkout shows the complete amount, including any customer service fee, before payment. A later change to platform guidance does not rewrite an existing booking’s agreed amount.

Check the source that applies to you
Use the linked primary sources in our local and subject guides, and check the current rules before acting. Waste rules depend on the UK nation, who produced the waste and the activity involved. A general guide cannot confirm whether a particular collector or site is authorised for your waste.
